Talus Award

One of a set of substantial awards in aquashaped sandstone and starfire glass, enhanced with a circular aluminum accent. Sandstone, as a major structural element, reinforces the impression of weight, solidity and permanence in an award. The Talus features a black granite "V' lodged in sandstone, with triangular starfire glass behind and, as an added focal point for artwork, a brushed aluminum circle inset on the front. Due to the nature of sandstone, the exact thickness, color and surface texture may vary from piece to piece. Etching or colorfill on sandstone is not available. Second position etch optional.
