Mesa Award

One of a set of substantial awards in sandstone and starfire glass. Sandstone, as a major structural element, reinforces the impression of weight, solidity and permanence in an award. The Mesa features an aquashaped starfire rectangle with sculpted and carved bottom edge fused to a correspondingly sculpted sandstone base. Due to the nature of sandstone, the exact thickness, color and surface texture may vary from piece to piece. Etching or colorfill on sandstone is not available.
